General and Preventive Care

Complete, Personalized Family Dental Care

For over 15 years, Dr. Agata Konopka has been providing comprehensive oral health care to families just like yours. Dr. Konopka will always keep your best dental health at the highest priority and be as conservative as she can with treatment to ensure the best possible outcome for your health and pocket book. When possible, we present a variety of different solutions to choose from.

Root Canals — While most patients in need of root canal therapy are referred to a specialist, called an Endodontist, we do offer advanced rotary equipment for this type of procedure, which means your root canal treatment is performed more efficiently and comfortably than with conventional methods.

Extractions — Badly broken teeth or severe tooth pain may mean you need to have an extraction for fast pain relief. You may also be referred to a specialist, called an Oral Surgeon, for more complex surgical extractions or when multiple teeth are being extracted, such as having your wisdom teeth removed. Just call us to schedule a consultation to get the answers you need.

Crowns and Bridges — A fractured tooth typically involves placing a crown over it to protect the remaining intact, healthy tooth from further damage or the need to extract it. If you have had a tooth extracted that leaves a space between two teeth, you may consider a bridge or an implant to replace it.

Fillings — Tooth colored fillings work for both adults and children as a minimally invasive (yet cosmetic) way to repair areas of tooth decay. The resin composite is matched closely to the tooth, so no one has to know you’ve had any treatment. Your smile will look and feel beautiful!

Sealants — Protective Sealants are a thin layer of tooth colored material applied in the pits and grooves of your child’s teeth. They only take a few minutes to apply and make it easier for your child to keep hard-to-reach areas clean.

Sleep Apnea Management — Opening your airway using natural techniques can instantly increase your oxygen flow when you sleep. Our oral appliances can help you manage chronic snoring or certain types of sleep apnea if you need to avoid using a CPAP appliance.

TMJ Disorder Therapies — A thorough evaluation of your joint, muscles, teeth, and other factors can help us determine whether the use of a bite guard, splint, or injectables like Botox are appropriate. Injectables can often provide temporary relief for a few months at a time.

Prevent Problems by Scheduling a Cleaning Every Six Months

The best way for you or your child to enjoy a healthy smile is to schedule a preventive care appointment twice each year. During these visits, we will:

  • Clean and polish your teeth
  • Take any necessary digital images
  • Assess the soft tissues for disease
  • Screen for orthodontic complications

If you do need treatment, we will present all options available and help you make an educated decision regarding your care.

Periodontal Disease Management

Gum disease is a serious condition that can cause tooth loss and even interfere with your overall health. If we see signs of periodontal disease, Dr. Konopka will thoroughly evaluate and recommend the appropriate interval of periodontal maintenance required for you and your optimal dental health.

Our hygienist will also be able to advise how you can manage periodontitis at your next checkup.
