At Agata Konopka, DDS, we want to help each patient create their best smile. For patients who would like a straighter smile, Dr. Konopka is proud to offer Invisalign Braces.
How Do Invisalign Braces Work?
Have you had braces before and then stopped wearing your retainer afterwards? Have your teeth almost shifted back to the way they were before?
Invisalign braces may be just what you need to discreetly straighten your teeth back! They are also a great option for people who have never worn braces, but who have mild to moderate tooth crowding.
Aligning your teeth makes them easier to clean, but it also has a huge impact on your appearance. As an Invisalign provider, Dr. Konopka can help you straighten your teeth without having to go to an orthodontist for traditional brackets and wires.
These clear, removable braces make it easier for you to keep your smile clean and avoid problems like tooth decay and gum disease. This system uses removable plastic trays that are easy to care for and comfortable to wear.
Are Invisalign Braces Right For Me?
When straightening your teeth, metal braces may seem like a good option. However, you may not like the look of brackets and wires on your teeth. Invisalign has the same teeth straightening ability as standard braces, but are almost invisible.
If Dr. Konopka determines you’re a good candidate for Invisalign, clear aligners are created to fit over your teeth in the same way that a mouth guard or whitening tray would. Each set of of these braces are worn for about 2 weeks, then are swapped out for the next set.
Over time, the Invisalign braces move your teeth to a straighter, more correct position within your mouth. In many of Dr. Konopka’s cases, the process takes just a year or less to complete.
The Many Benefits of Invisalign
- Clear aligners that no one can tell you’re wearing
- Invisalign braces are removable for easy maintenance and cleaning
- No dietary restrictions (unlike with traditional bracket & wire braces)
- Most patients complete their Invisalign braces treatment in 1 year or less
- Invisalign braces are often more comfortable than wearing traditional braces
