Our Approach to Care
During your very first appointment, Dr. Konopka will discuss your goals and expectations regarding your dental health. All treatment plans revolve around your priorities or concerns.
What to Expect During Your First Appointment
After your consultation, we will take any necessary x-rays to aid in your thorough oral examination. We will check each of your teeth as well as your TMJ and extraoral facial tissues. Dr. Konopka will also complete an oral cancer screening and orthodontic evaluation. All of this is done to establish a baseline for future exams, so that any changes can be carefully noted. That way we can intervene before bigger problems pop up.
What If I Need Treatment?
Should any procedures be necessary to restore your dental health, we will use an intraoral camera to show you, our findings. Then, an itemized treatment plan will be reviewed with you. When at all possible, we will present you with a variety of different treatments to choose from. That way you can select the one best for your health, budget, and personal priorities.
